Fine Art Classes

The Muse Art Classes are structured based on age appropriate art topics in a small group setting. Each studio class (based on grade level) focuses on introducing and/or developing technical skill, knowledge of working with different artist mediums, understanding artistic interpretation and expression and of course creating unique quality works of art!!!

Fine art classes are available publicly or as private group class packs

Intro To Studio Art

Intro to Studio Art allows your teen to explore drawing, painting, collage, mixed media, found object art, 3D art & much more! Your teen will receive a basic introduction to the fundamentals of the elements and principles of art such as colorlineshape,  form, balance, contrast, rhythm and unity.

Grades: 7th Grade – 12th Grade


Drawing & Painting I

These teens will explore the art scene as it pertains to drawing and painting. Students will experiment with and utilize artist mediums such as pencil, colored pencil, chalk pastel, watercolor and acrylic paint while always incorporating the elements & principles of art.

  • Refine and continue to develop different skills and techniques using dry and wet 2-D media
  • Develop an understanding for creating self-reflective art and the critique process
  • Promote self-expression and build self-confidence

Drawing & Painting II

Designed for the high school student who is interested in art but doesn’t take themselves too seriously! These teens will explore the art scene as it pertains to drawing and painting and utilize 2-D artist mediums such as pencil, colored pencil, chalk & oil pastel, watercolor and acrylic paint while always incorporating the elements & principles of art. Observational drawings, perspective, realism, abstraction, landscape, and portraiture will be reviewed.

Grades: 9th Grade – 12th Grade


Muse Masters

This 5 Week course is designed as independent artist study. Students will choose their own subject matter and find inspiration to create work(s) of Art that have personal meaning & connection to them. The Student will have the opportunity to choose the Medium and Size in which they will work to create their own unique work(s) of art. Teacher will provide guidance & instruction where necessary to assist the Artist in their vision or series of Artwork. All Traditional Supplies and Materials will be provided. Inspiration and Out of the Ordinary Materials Supplied by the STUDENT! Each Class will run for 2 hours.

Grades: 10th Grade – 12th Grade

The Muse Enlighten & Envision Art Studio offers individualized, private instruction to create your studio art portfolio for high school, college or university!

Receive tailor-made art instruction created just for you based on desired goals and inspiration.  Learn various artistic skills and techniques that support your unique authentic self-expression and artistic confidence while building on natural talent, existing knowledge and techniques.  Encourage self-esteem and self-expression in order to tap into your own creative potential and unleash your inner artist!

Each studio session focuses on introducing and/or developing technical skills and expanding knowledge of working with different artist mediums in order to meet the individual specific needs of a particular portfolio application.

  3. Compile Complete Portfolio

  • High School – You should start getting ready 7/8th grade
